Who is eligible for ICAR 2024?
How to Prepare For ICAR AIEEA 2024 – Eligibility for the ICAR 2024 exam (officially known as AIEEA) depends on whether you’re aiming for undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) programs
For UG programs
- Nationality: Indian citizen only.
- Age limit: Minimum 16 years old as of July 1, 2024.
- Educational qualification: Passed 10+2 (higher secondary) from a recognized board with any three science subjects from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates appearing for 12th exams in 2024 are also eligible.
- Minimum marks: General/OBC/EWS category – 50% in PCMB subjects; SC/ST/PC category – 40% in PCMB subjects.
For PG programs
- Nationality: Indian citizen only.
- Age limit: No limit.
- Educational qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry/Dairy Technology/Fisheries Science/Agribusiness Management/Forestry from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PC.
- Master’s degree in Science (MSc) with specialization in relevant subjects like Agriculture, Biology, Zoology, Botany, etc., with minimum 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PC.
