UPSC Mains Syllabus 2024 For DU Political Science-  The UPSC Mains, formally known as the Civil Services (Main) Examination, is the second stage of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India.

UPSC Mains Syllabus 2024 – It is a highly competitive exam that selects candidates for various prestigious civil service positions in the Indian government, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Revenue Service (IRS).

Eligibility

  • Only candidates who have cleared the UPSC Prelims exam are eligible to appear for the UPSC Mains.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
  • However, there are a certain number of attempts permitted for each category of candidates.

Important Dates

  • The UPSC notification for the CSE 2024 was released on February 14, 2024.
  • The UPSC Prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 26, 2024.
  • The UPSC Mains exam is scheduled to begin on September 20, 2024.
