The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers a one-year Diploma in Creative Writing in English (DCE) program that equips students with the understanding, skills, and professional knowledge needed for a writing career.

  • Online Registration: The registration process takes place twice a year, usually in January and July. You can register through the IGNOU website.
  • Filling the Application Form: Fill out the application form carefully, providing all the necessary details and attaching the required documents.
  • Submitting the Application Form: Submit the completed application form along with the registration fee at any designated IGNOU Study Centre.
  • Downloading the Hall Ticket: Once your application is accepted, you can download your hall ticket from the IGNOU website.

Selection Process

  • For merit-based admission through the distance learning mode, IGNOU considers the entrance exam score (70%) and the qualifying exam marks (30%).
