IGNOU Online MAGPS Admission 2023: Master of Arts (Gandhi and Peace Studies) Applications for the January 2023 session of IGNOU Online MGPS are already being accepted; the deadline to do so is January 31, 2023. Before the deadline, interested candidates may submit their applications. The IOP Portal is utilised to complete the IGNOU MAGPS programme admissions procedure.

The masters Programme in Gandhi and Peace Studies is a specialized area for those who are interested in understanding evaluation and implementation of Gandhian model of development and conflict resolution. IGNOU Online MAGPS Admission 2023 January (Last Date) Accordingly, the course will contain Gandhi’s views and perceptions on economic, social, gender, political, environmental and sustainable development issues. It will also contain critiques and evaluation of Gandhian concepts, its relevance in the contemporary world and contributions made by Gandhian scholars in the further development of Gandhian thought and progress. The primary thrust of the programme is to expose learners, particularly the younger generation, to the thoughts and ideas of Gandhi and its place in the contemporary world.

IGNOU Online MAGPS Admission Process:


To avoid mistakes while registering for an online Online MAGPS program one should follow the instruction mentioned below:

  • Arrange an active email and unique mobile number before registration
  • All documents must be originally scanned, and not exceed the size limit
  • A Passport size photo must not be older than three weeks
  • Special category candidates will need to upload a relevant certificate for a verification
  • Details such as applicants’ and fathers’ names must be filled with a resemblance to the 10th certificate.

IGNOU Online MAGPS Assignment 2023-24


The Online MAGPS program’s current session assignment for the academic year 2022 has been released by IGNOU and the last date of Assignment submission is 15 December 2022. Candidates must download these assignments in order to be allowed to take the IGNOU Online MAGPS TEE. The Online MAGPS program assignment is very crucial because it has a 30% weightage, so if you do not complete it, you won’t be allowed to the next stage.

Non Submission of Assignment


The TMA for each semester can be downloaded from the Student Zone of the University website. You have to complete the assignment within the due dates specified in the assignment booklet. You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.

IGNOU Online MAGPS Term End Examination


Term End Examinations for the Online MAGPS programme are held by Indira Gandhi National Open University in two sessions (December & June). Students who desire to appear in the December TEE can do so until 25 November 2022 with a late fee because the programme is semester-based. In Online MAGPS programmes, TEE has a weighting of roughly 70%; participation in course exams is required.

Evaluation Plan Both a term-end exam and ongoing evaluation are included in the evaluation plan. Assignments that are part of the continuous evaluation are weighted 30%, whereas term-end tests are weighted 70%.
